Treasure of San Gennaro

The Ticket Office is located at the entrance to the Treasure Museum, under the porticoes, to the right of the main entrance to the Cathedral of Naples. It is recommended to purchase the ticket online.

Chapel of San Gennaro

The Ticket Office is also located inside the Cathedral of Naples, near the entrance to the Chapel.

Here you can buy the ticket to visit the Treasure of San Gennaro, with audio guide included in the ticket, or rent the audio guide to visit the Chapel of the Treasure of San Gennaro (access to the Chapel is free).

For families of three, the third person doesn’t need to pay; each additional member over 12 years can purchase a ticket at a reduced rate.

Concessions

TRENITALIA 
  • 50% discount on admission to the Tesoro di San Gennaro to all holders of a Frecciarossa, Frecciargento, Frecciabianca ticket to Naples with a travel date no more than 3 days prior to the visit
  • 20% discount on the shop inside the museum for a minimum spend of €20; the discount is granted to those in possession of a Trenitalia ticket and a Tesoro ticket
SNAV, maritime connections
  • 50% discount for SNAV customers who present their SNAV ticket at the TREASURE OF SAN GENNARO Museum box office within three days of or before departure to or from Naples.
Associazione Teatro Stabile della Città di Napoli
  • Subscribers, spectators and employees of the Teatro di Napoli can benefit from reduced-price tickets, for themselves and 1 companion, for events at the Museum; to take advantage of this reduction, it will be necessary to show the badge for the Theater employees, the subscription coupon or a ticket of the current Theater Season for spectators.

Where we are

From Central Station: See route on Google Maps Leaving the station, cross piazza Garibaldi, keeping to the left side (See Terminus hotel). At the end of the square, take Corso Umberto I, and walk for about 650m to Piazza Nicola Amore. Take via Duomo at the right of the square and continue for about 500m. The entrance to the museum is on your right, next to the Cathedral of Naples, under the arcades.
The museum can be reached from the central railway station and from the underground lines 1 and 2. From Dante stop of Metro Line 1: see route on Google Maps
  • Leaving the station, take via Port’Alba and go straight on to Vico San Pietro a Maiella.
  • Continue until you reach via dei Tribunali.
  • Continue on via dei Tribunali until you cross via Duomo. Turn left and continue for 50m, where you will find the Museum on your right. The entrance is under the arcades.

  • Leaving the station, cross via Foria and continue left for a few metres until via Duomo, on your right.
  • Continue for about 400m to the Cathedral of Naples. The entrance to the Museum is on your left, on the right of the facade of the Duomo, under the arcades.

  • Leaving the station, cross Piazza Garibaldi, keeping to the left side (See Terminus hotel).

We are in the historic centre, so if you are arriving by car, please pay close attention to the ZTL gates. From the ZTL authorized parking: see the route on Google Maps Visitors with limited mobility can take advantage of the De Santo – Gardes car park in Via Giuseppe dei Ruffi, just over 100 meters from the museum. This parking gives users the right to cross the ZTL area of ​​via Duomo, even when the gate is active. Parking staff will send the car license plate to the municipality, thus avoiding any penalties. The car park is not very large, we always recommend calling before crossing the ZTL gate:
